Rediscover
Your Smile

Personalized
Full Mouth Rehabilitations

Are you faced with the possibility of losing all your teeth? You’re certainly not alone, but your future doesn’t have to be characterized by a failing or toothless smile. We can permanently replace all your teeth with implant supported dentures or full mouth dental implants in Plantation, FL. These solutions rely on two or more dental implants anchored in your natural jawbone that provide support and security for your denture or a custom-made bridge of teeth. You’ll experience a transformation in your biting and chewing function and a full set of strong teeth that won’t become stained, decayed, or fall out. Is it time to rediscover your smile? Learn how we can restore your smile, health, and confidence with dental implants!

Permanently Restore Your Smile

While you can choose removable dentures to replace all your failing or missing teeth, we don’t consider them to be a long-term solution. You’ll need to have them relined or replaced as your jawbone shrinks without the stimulation from natural teeth. And you’ll be limited in what foods you can eat and may find yourself worrying your teeth will become loose or fall out whenever you eat, laugh, or talk. But there is hope! Implant supported dentures and full mouth dental implants are two solutions that can permanently restore your smile and give you the long-term health and functional benefits you really want.

Our goal is to give you a smile so natural, even you will have trouble remembering you have dental implants instead of real, healthy teeth! To get you to this amazing quality of life, we’ve developed specific protocols for your treatment and have invested in many sophisticated technologies. Additionally, our dentist, Dr. Anthony Adkins, has trained at some of implant dentistry’s most prestigious education courses, including the McCracken Comprehensive Implant Residency Program, Rutgers MaxiCourse Program, and the AAID Live Implant Surgery Maxi Course in Cancun. We’re well-equipped to provide full arch rehabilitation! We encourage you to read about our process for receiving our dental implant solutions.

What to Expect
at Atlas Smiles™

Phase One: Consultation and Digital Planning

Your first phase of treatment begins with a personalized consultation with Dr. Adkins. Together, we’ll discover your smile goals and the best solution for your oral health needs. We’ll take CBCT scans of your mouth to evaluate the health and quality of your natural jawbone. We’ll also discuss if implant supported dentures or full mouth dental implants are a better option for you. Implant supported dentures involve relining your current denture so it can attach to two or more dental implants. They can either be bar or ball-retained, with an option to snap it in and out for daily cleaning. This is a more affordable solution since full arch dental implants involve a custom-made bridge of teeth permanently fixed to four or more dental implants. Full mouth dental implants can only be removed by Dr. Adkins and will provide over 98% return to dental function, beautiful aesthetics, and long-term health benefits. Both solutions will ultimately provide you with greater function and health, permanently improving your confidence and quality of life.

When planning your full mouth treatment, we digitally map out your surgery to take advantage of healthy, strong bone and maximize the long-term function of your dental implants. For our full arch dental implants patients, we’ll also take digital photos in our cutting-edge photo lab and create a virtual mock-up of your new smile in our Digital Smile Design Software. You can see your new smile before we begin treatment! Finally, we’ll use all this information to design the custom surgical guide we’ll use to place your implants, then print it in our in-house 3D printer. This high-tech process leaves very little room for human error and provides a customized result!

Phase Two: Implant Placement Surgery

On your day of surgery, we’ll first make sure you’re comfortable in the plush, reclining chair in our surgical suite. You’ll have access to blankets, pillows, Netflix, and Beats headphones—whatever you’ll need to relax during surgery. If you are anxious, we can prescribe oral sedation to help you feel calm during your appointment. If you need bone grafting or tooth extractions, we can generally do this during the same surgical appointment. Using the custom surgical guide, we’ll place the dental implants into your jawbone—a process that takes less than a few hours. If you’re receiving implant supported dentures, in most cases we’ll be able to modify your denture chairside and attach it to your dental implants during this appointment. For full mouth dental implants patients, we’ll have a provisional ready for immediate loading if your dental implants are stable. You’ll be able to return home the same day as your surgery, with a temporary set of teeth in place! Most patients report low pain levels, and any discomfort or swelling can be alleviated with over-the-counter pain medication.

Phase Three: Healing and Final Restoration

You’ll need a few months to recover from your surgery, during which time your natural bone will be healing and fusing around each dental implant post. This is what makes dental implants so strong and long-lasting! If you’re receiving full mouth dental implants, we’ll begin the process of restoring your smile by taking digital impressions of your mouth. The final set of custom teeth you receive with our full arch treatment will be digitally designed by our team and hand-crafted by skilled ceramists. Your final prosthesis is fabricated as one strong unit, usually of zirconia, or another highly durable material, then colored and polished to look like natural teeth and gums. These teeth are not milled in bulk; they are fitted to the shape and size of your mouth based on our photographs and digital designs. Once attached to your dental implants, your new set of teeth will look perfectly natural, giving you the function to eat any foods and the freedom to enjoy an active, healthy life!

Your New Smile Is within Reach

We truly believe that full arch dental implants can transform your smile and your life! They do come with a higher price tag than removable dentures, but for good reason. Keep in mind that both implant supported dentures and full mouth dental implants are permanent tooth replacement solutions, and we design them to last for the rest of your life! We don’t want any patient to feel they can’t afford these life-changing options.

Our team will work with you and our third-party financing companies to find a monthly payment plan that fits within your budget. Additionally, we’ll help maximize your dental insurance benefits. Rest assured, we will do all we can to make sure you can experience an amazing quality of life with dental implants!
